Reilly & Lee Co., 1925. Hardcover. Early gift book, with both dust wrapper and original box, intact. Top left corner of box top is 'sprung' and split, all other corners top and bottom are intact despite edgewear. Glassine dust jacket with a spider-web pattern, intact, but does show some edgewear, some small punctures, and one set of closed tears near the bottom spine. Gift inscription for Christmas 1927 neatly penned at the gutter of the flyleaf. Covers and text block are very clean and nice for a book of this vintage. An exceptional collectible.
