Frederick J. Drake & Company, 1903. Hardcover. No jacket. Cloth worn, stained, dampstained; with fraying to edges, bumped corners, and chipping at spine tips. Binding delicate, cracked to mull between each signature, with evidence of glue repair in gutter of some pages; middle and bottom cords broken from pages 5-24, held by a single thread at top cords, still holding; all pages present. Prior owner's notes type-written and inked onto separate pieces of paper, glued in at front paste down and FFEP. Pages toned, text unmarked. Stored and sold in protective sleeve. Used: Acceptable.
