Edwardes, with an introduction by Grace Rhys, and two additional chapters in volume four by Grace Thompson. Maroon cloth with gilt titles and decoration. Cloth rubbed, soiled, and edgeworn; volume one is additionally dampstained. Spines dulled, the gilt ranging from obscured to illegible - gilt on front covers is soiled for volume one, but still clear for volumes two-four. Volume one's spine is square, the others with mild to moderate cocking; bindings sound. Interiors: pink dampstaining to top and fore-edge margins of first few pages and to rear paste down, without effect on text. Flecked black pen markings to textblock fore-edge of volume two. All four volumes lightly toned and very sparsely foxed, but otherwise clean and unmarked. Illustrated throughout with numerous pictures in both black-and-white and full-color. Used: Good.
