Seven typewritten and signed letters from Lloyd Alexander, in personalized envelopes; one handwritten and signed Christmas card; two additional empty personalized envelopes. The letters date from 15 December 1997 - 12 May 2001 and cover a range of topics including baseball, radio, cats, Christmas, the appeal of opening presents early, and the Kenneth Starr hearings. The Christmas card has only light edgewear. Envelopes scuffed, edgeworn, with occasional folds or creases. The letters are each folded in half on the long edge but are otherwise free of notable wear.
