Grosset & Dunlap. Hardcover. Copyright 1907 as per the Houghton original; this is an early Grosset and Dunlap reprint, ca 1910. Pale green cloth with spine titling and general decoration stamped in peach and darker green, and an illustrated title plate adhered to front panel. Cloth toned a little to top and bottom margins and to spine, lightly bumped to spine ends and fore-edge corners; very good. Cloth lightly soiled, with faint toning to spine and in a thin margin along top and bottom edges; light edgewear, lightly bumped to spine ends. Spine square. Binding intact. Dust jacket scuffed, toned, with moderate edgewear including closed tears and minor chipping. DJ good in Mylar. Prior owner's name inked to front paste down, dated indeterminately with either 1913 or 1918. Interior else clean, pages lightly toned, text unmarked. Very scarce in DJ. Used: Very Good / Good.
