Fly leaf and title page torn out. Contemporary brown leather with gilt decoration, heavily worn, with later repair work to hinges. Marbled paper endsheets, inner hinges reinforced. Binding now solid. Water damage to top half of pages through front matter and to first few pages of text. Pages foxed. Very sparse underlining or marginal notations throughout, in pencil. Used: Acceptable.
