[nd], ca late 1820s; one of the illustrations is copyright 1826. Brown leather, with decoration stamped in gilt and a darker brown, gilt spine titling. Leather cracked, rubbed, frayed to edges, with loss to spine head. Binding cracked at title page; the exposed thread binding is strong and secure. Marbled paper endsheets. Pages foxed; dampstaining to top margin throughout, with decreasing severity from front to back. With six plates throughout; no tissue guards (if issued with them), and there is notable full-page tanning to the pages surrounding each plate. There is no provided list of illustrations, but some may be missing, as there are a few other places in the text with this full-page tanning and no plate present to account for it.
