*, 1936. Hardcover. Memory book / photo album from the 1936 Olympic games in Berlin, with contemporary photos, including images of infrastructure and audiences, and track and swim events. Also includes two slips of paper with the signatures of Olympic swimmers. Most pages are full with photos; a few empty spaces, most appearing not to have ever had a photo there, but a few pages with remnants of removed photos and a short note confirming deliberate removal. Last included page is glued to rear inside cover, with a split at top half of gutter. Soft leather album with gilt decoration at spine, with rubbing and edgewear, corners starting to fray, small split starting at rear corner of spine head. Small sticker remnants at lower spine and bottom margin of front. News clipping glued at front paste down. Used: Good. Item #BBS-2024183
