Gilt on top page ends. 312 pp. In 1870 the 17 year old Earl and Dr. Kingsley took a merry and informative jaunt through the South Seas, stopping at Tahiti, Moorea, Huahine, Raiatea, Bora-bora, Samoa, Rarotonga, and finally Fiji, where they sunk their ship on a coral head.
